Alumni Spotlight: Maggie WadeMuch beloved WLBT-TV 3 news anchor Maggie Wade has received 500+ awards during her professional career, and over this past year, she was able to add one more to her roster: Mississippi College alumna. We were proud to finally award Maggie her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration after she landed her job at WLBT in 1982 during her senior year. Though job responsibilities, an amazing career, and parenthood took precedent at the time, she is now an official and inspiring part of our alumni base!#MCAlumni #AlumniSpotlight

This is awesome for Maggie and Mississippi College. WLBT was the first station in the South to hire an African-American general manager. Maggie continues the historic leadership of WLBT.

Exciting. Bittersweet. Unforgettable. These are just a few of the words that come to mind every year as we celebrate our Mississippi College graduates and watch them cross the stage into this new chapter of their lives.Class of '22, we will miss you here on campus, but know that we are prayerfully cheering you on as you take on the world. We can't wait to see what you do, and we will see you this Fall at the alumni tent!#Classof22

What an amazing night with the legendary Reba McEntire at Mississippi College's annual Spring Scholarship Banquet! We were honored to hear from her along with Speaker of the House Philip Gunn, WLBT news anchor and meteorologist Barbie Bassett, and MC's Worship Collective.Thank you to everyone who attended - we are incredibly grateful for the thoughtful gifts of our donors.Proceeds from this event will provide scholarships to MC students who might not otherwise receive a college education at a Christian university.
